Aloha!
I'm writing this in Hawaii, sitting on my balcony at Turtle Bay. This is my view, but that's a few days ago. Today it's raining so I'm catching up email and a few other things.
This vacation is the first two week getaway my husband and I have had in about twenty years, but it's also the hardest working vacation I've ever taken. First of all, Trella (Prince's Son of Scandal ) is a January release so I've been talking that up. It's Book Four of the Sauveterre Siblings. I was busy organizing promotion for that right up to the day we left.
Then, the day after I arrived in Hawaii, On The Edge launched. That's Book One in my new Blue Spruce Lodge series. Again, lots of stuff was scheduled, but I've visited some blog posts through the week, thanking the hosts and answering questions or responding to comments. Also, it's important to angst over reviews, so I devoted much time to that.
Yesterday, I had a cover reveal yesterday for From The Top. It's Book Two in the Blue Spruce Lodge series. I'm in love with it, so it was a pleasure to brag that up. Here's the blurb if you haven't see it:
Their hot New Year’s Eve wasn’t supposed to have consequences…
Fiercely independent after a difficult childhood, Ilke Lunquist devotes herself to one thing: skiing. She’s on the cusp of gold when an unexpected pregnancy throws her future into chaos.
Nathaniel Hart takes on the daunting project of restoring Whiskey Jack Ski Resort to be close to his young son, but with one failed marriage behind him, he avoids serious relationships. They might be virtual strangers with only a baby in common, but Nate is determined to be part of his child’s life.
Ilke didn’t become a champion by ever backing down from a challenge, especially not one where her child’s happiness and her own heart are on the line. When tragedy strikes, heartbreak draws them closer together. Nate discovers he’s more than ready for a bigger family and maybe, just maybe, Ilke will find the home that has eluded her all her life.
From The Top will be available on all platforms, but not all the links are up yet. Go here for the ones I've harvested so far.
That's plenty of work for being on vacation, right? Wait, don't guess yet. That's not all. I also have a special promotion opportunity that landed in my lap days before we left. Actually, to be completely honest there were two.
The first is for my UK readers and showed up while I was at the volcano park on the Big Island. The Secret Beneath the Veil price-dropped to 99p. You have until mid-Feb to pick that up.
The Secret Beneath the Veil one of my very favourite books. The characters broke my heart and the opening is very dramatic. Read it here.
Finally (although something else may come up. I don't know!) but today there's a free book opportunity with Book Three in my Love In Montana Series.
The Bachelor's Baby is a Bachelor Auction premise with a nine-month consequence. You'll find all the download links here:
DOWNLOAD THE BACHELOR'S BABY
Enjoy!
On the actual vacation front, we're working pretty hard. We put 500 miles on the rental car in the first three days, while we explored the big island. We've been on Oahu for five days and my Fitbit is having a fit, going off at ten thousand steps in the middle of the day. We're hiking and exploring and generally having a great time. Except today we had to call it on account of rain. Frankly, I'm enjoying the excuse for some down time!
